We’re escaping drizzly England and instead heading of the South of France – in our minds at least!
We were so thrilled when we were asked to capture this incredible inspiration shoot in beautiful Bergerac! Organised by Holly from Simply Périgord Weddings, the shoot was set in the elegant French countryside on the grounds of fifteenth-century Château aux Jardins Suspendus. The venue offers so much versatility to couples getting wed, from balmy riverside celebrations to more formal reception settings within the landscaped gardens. We were left enchanted by the grand scale of the venue, nestled in its woodland surroundings, with views down to the Vézère River.
The inspiration for this shoot was completely led by the typically-French elegance of the venue and its beautifully natural surroundings, so the styling was kept very organic and true to the setting. The idea was to incorporate generous sweeps of greenery and soft flowing tulles to create an effortless al fresco vibe that exudes a dreamy, intimate and relaxed feel.
We absolutely loved capturing both stills and film for this incredible shoot. Are you planning a destination wedding in a beautiful Château? Or something different? We’d love to hear all about your dream wedding venues!
