We love nothing more this time of year than a cosy, festive wedding, so now’s the perfect time to revisit Tom & Natalia’s gloriously wintry wedding from December 2018.
Aussie boy Tom and Hertfordshire girl Natalia met and live in Australia, but opted for a traditionally northern-hemisphere December wedding at the wondrously atmospheric barns The Farmhouse at Redcoats, just round the corner from where Natalia grew up.
Instead of a snowy winter wedding, they totally embraced the wet and blustery weather, and with all the Christmassy touches strewn throughout the venue – from the sumptuous florals to the sparkling lights – this only added to the utterly bright & warm vibe indoors. Things became super festive as the sun set, and the candles and lanterns were lit for their reception. Centrepiece goals right there! After the speeches, the evening gave way to cutting the stunningly adorned meringue cake and dancing into the night.
We especially loved their tree decoration wedding favours. Their friends and family in attendence wrote a note for Tom & Natalia on one Christmas ornament and took a matching decoration home with them to hang on their own tree. This year, our bride and groom are asking their guests to take photos and share their decorations via Instagram – so cute!
It was such a joy putting the film together for this pair’s wedding. So grab a cuppa, dive under a blanket and give it a watch to get in that festive mood, with plenty of winter wedding inspiration!
